Prior to 2009

We both grew up in the northwest side of Houston and attended Langham Creek High School. This is where we first began our creative spirit and drive to succeed. From creating the first high school utlimate league, to taking advanced classes to prepare for college we tried their hardest to succeed.

After high school we both went on to college at Texas Christian University (TCU). We began their schooling in the fall of 2007. Both are business school majors and have been high achievers in our studies. We captained the ultimate frisbee club team at TCU and helped to improve the team greatly.

urtaggs Phase 1

January 2009 was when we began our website, urtaggs.com. At that time we had done significant research on different internet marketing techniques and decided that we could create a website where businesses could put their videos. The basic idea was to have a website just like YouTube, but devoted to businesses. Working with an extremely limited budget we advertised where they could, including Adwords, and were able to increase views over the next three months.

During these three months we decided to get our official LLC certification from the state of Texas. More and more businesses began to place their videos on our website and it continued to grow. Summer rolled by and before long, it was time for our Junior year at TCU.

urtaggs Phase 2

During the fall Sam and Tyler decided to go in the direction of internet marketing through Adwords, Yahoo and MSN clients. We specialize in paid search management and social media advertising. From here we will continue to gain experience and offer the best customer service you can find.
